Leeds United were recently linked with a move for Yasin Ben El-Mhanni, but he is reportedly in talks with other clubs and keen to make a move into Europe.

The transfer window may now be closed until January, but El-Mhanni is still available to sign given that he is a free agent after leaving St James’ Park.
But it seems that the Championship leaders could face an uphill battle if they are still interested in the youngster, as The Sun is reporting that El-Mhanni is now keen on a move to Europe and has begun talks with Royal Antwerp.

It is not clear from this latest report whether Leeds remain in the hunt to sign El-Mhanni. The fairly short period of time since Goal’s suggestion that they are keen perhaps hints that they may not be out of the running altogether, but their absence from the latest report does suggest that their interest has perhaps cooled.
The Whites look very strong in wide areas at the moment, and added Izzy Brown to their ranks in the final hours of the summer window so perhaps there is less of a desire to get something done for El-Mhanni.
But with the wide-man available on a free transfer and now in talks over a move elsewhere, it will be interesting to see whether Leeds are alerted by the latest developments and decide to make a last-ditch attempt to lure El-Mhanni to Elland Road.
