Dani van den Heuvel is being linked with a move to Leeds United after leaving Ajax.
The teenage goalkeeper confirmed his departure from the Dutch giants on Instagram earlier (Tuesday).
And, according to Ajax Showtime, Leeds will be Van den Heuvel’s next destination after he rejected a new contract at the Amsterdam Arena.
Leeds have already signed up a pair of young talents since the end of last season, in Joe Gelhardt (Wigan Athletic) and Charlie Allen (Linfield).
And the chances of Van den Heuvel following them into Thorp Arch look good, after the Netherlands youth international had his post ‘liked’ by another Whites talent, Nohan Kenneh.
Van den Heuvel, who turned 17 in May, arrived at Ajax from ADO Den Haag and spent a total of three years in the club’s academy ranks.
Should his move to Leeds go ahead, he would link up with a fellow Dutchman in Pascal Struijk, who made the same move two-and-a-half years ago.
The Whites also employ the pair’s compatriots Ouasim Bouy and Jay-Roy Grot, although neither player made an appearance last season.
