Leeds United striker Kemar Roofe has written on Twitter that he is ‘devastated’ after learning of his knee ligament injury.
The Whites’ official website has confirmed that Roofe will be sidelined for a while, although no timescale has been offered on his return.
The 25-year-old, who sustained the injury in the 2-1 win over Swansea last week, is Leeds’ top goalscorer this season with 14 Championship goals in 26 games.
