The Whites forward has 14 goals in 26 Championship games this season.

Leeds United forward Kemar Roofe has spoken of life playing under Marcelo Bielsa, including one particular element which has seen him improve his goalscoring tally.
The 26-year-old, who is currently on the sidelines with an injury, played in various attacking roles in previous seasons and ended up scoring only 15 goals in two campaigns.
Since Bielsa’s arrival at Elland Road last summer, however, Roofe has been playing in the number nine position, and 14 goals from his 26 Championship matches are testament to it having been a good call (Transfermarkt).
Overall, the Argentine has transformed Leeds from a mid-table Championship side into one which topped the table and remains in the hunt for the title in what is proving to be a tight race between the Whites, Norwich City and Sheffield United.
In conversation with the official Leeds website, Roofe was asked how much he has enjoyed working under Bielsa and whether he feels like he’s improved under him.
“Yes I have, but every season I aim to improve,” replied the attacker. “If I don’t and I haven’t I have done something wrong myself. Learning from him has been good, I’ve learnt a lot and everyday you learn something from him tactically and technically, you never stop learning.”

In terms of his role in the team, Roofe added: “Being in this team and in the number nine position all of the time has helped a lot. In previous seasons I’ve moved around a lot and it can be hard to get a good flow in one position. Hopefully I can get a few more games at the end of the season and add a few more.”
Leeds, currently third in the Championship table, return to action after the international break with a home game against Millwall, after which they will only have seven games left this campaign.
