Leeds United face off against a former player this weekend in Lee Bowyer.

Kalvin Phillips has admitted that ‘it’s a bit weird’ to be facing off against a team managed by a Leeds United legend this weekend.
Lee Bowyer’s Charlton Athletic welcome Marcelo Bielsa’s side to The Valley on Saturday.
Bowyer spent seven successful years at Leeds until 2003 and helped them reach the Champions League semi-finals in 2001.
Phillips, who was born in 1995, grew up watching the English midfielder impress at his local club and now that the 24-year-old is in that role, the United star concedes that it’ll be a strange experience.
He told The Telegraph: “It’s a bit weird to be fair. I’ve seen him a couple of times, where he’s scrapping and that. It’d be good to see him in person.”
Bowyer has done a cracking job with the Addicks, helping them win promotion into the Championship last season, and they’re doing well.
In fact, Bowyer’s side will move level on points with top-of-the-table Leeds if they beat them.
Thing is, the Whites’ away form is much better than their home form this season, and Leeds fans, who watched their side somehow allow Derby County to leave Elland Road with a point on Saturday, may actually prefer this game being away from home.
