Jack Harrison is looking like a £20 million talent these days for Leeds United.

There were more than a few eyebrows raised when it was reported that Leeds United would have to spend £20 million to sign Jack Harrison outright [The Sun]
After all, the Manchester City winger didn’t have an outstanding 2018-19 campaign at Elland Road last season, to the point where demanding that price for him was madness.
In the end, Leeds took him on loan for a second year in succession, but Harrison is now showing why he is valued so highly by the Premier League champions.
Harrison set up Tyler Roberts’s opener in United’s 2-0 win over QPR on Saturday, before finding the net himself later in the game.
In doing so, the 22-year-old now has four assists and one goal in his last five Championship games under Marcelo Bielsa.
Despite a rough first few months back at Leeds, in which Bielsa refused to drop him, Harrison is reminding everybody of his immense potential and if he can find a level of consistency that eluded him last term then that’s what City will be asking for again next summer, £20 million.
You would hope that the Elland Road side are in a position to pay it, because it would mean that they have finally won promotion back to the Premier League, but without consistency, Harrison is forever going to be a player who does nothing for months on end and then experiences sudden bursts of dazzling form.
At the moment though, there’s so much to like about the City talent – contracted to the Eastlands club until 2022 – and under a manager of Bielsa’s vintage, he could get a lot better.
