Wilks has been in good form for Doncaster, on loan from Leeds.

Leeds United have a decision to make on the immediate future of Mallik Wilks in the January transfer window, with the youngster currently shining on loan at League One side Doncaster Rovers.
The 20-year-old ace has been in excellent form for Grant McCann’s men, scoring seven goals and creating five more in 27 league and cup appearances. Of those matches, the majority have been played on either the left or right wing.
However, his spell with Doncaster is coming to an end in the January transfer window, and Leeds have to make a decision whether to tell him to stay at the Keepmoat Stadium – or bring him back to Elland Road.
Leeds have plenty of options in the final third, with the likes of Tyler Roberts, Patrick Bamford and Kemar Roofe vying for a place up front. Jack Clarke, Gjanni Alioski, Pablo Hernandez and Jack Harrison are options out wide.
Wilks’ contract at Leeds is set to expire in the summer, and he needs regular game time in order to continue to show his parent club and manager Marcelo Bielsa that he is deserving of an extended stay.

Allowing him to remain at Doncaster, where he has already endeared himself to the fans, would see his confidence levels and experience continue to rise – and boost his chances of a new deal.
Leeds have to make the decision to keep Wilks on loan at Doncaster and strike a deal with the League One club, allowing them to keep Wilks until the end of the season.
