Paul Rachubka only made six Championship appearances for Leeds United, but he is a player that few Whites fans will be able to forget.

Often when Leeds fans have attempted to stick up for Felix Wiedwald or Andy Lonergan following their poor spells of form at stages during the season, their defence has often been to suggest that neither are as bad as Paul Rachubka.
Rachubka made just six league appearances for Leeds in 2011, but he has become the goalkeeper that many of the Elland Road faithful have compared their subsequent stoppers with, especially when their performances have left a lot to be desired.
The former Manchester United trainee unfortunately made a number of mistakes during his handful of appearances for the Whites and ensured his place in Leeds folklore when he was substituted midway through a 5-0 home defeat to Blackpool despite not being injured – with that game, unsurprisingly, proving to be last for the club before his departure almost two years later.
With both Wiedwald and Lonergan struggling so far this season, the 36-year-old’s time at the club has certainly been mentioned one or two times this term – so perhaps it may surprise Leeds fans to know that Rachubka has just won the Player of the Month award during the opening month of the season with his latest club.
The veteran now plays for Indian Super League side Kerala Blasters, the 18th club of his career, and in his first three games for the Blasters, he has conceded just one goal, keeping two clean sheets.
Unfortunately for Rachubka, his teammates – who include Wes Brown and Dimitar Berbatov – have failed to take advantage of their solid defence, having drawn all three of their games so far to leave them languishing in mid-table.
