Speaking on the Official Leeds United Podcast, Patrick Bamford has claimed that Leeds United fans will absolutely love Raphinha once they’re allowed back in the ground.
Raphinha is already a bit of a fan favourite, with fans drooling over him on social media on what seems to be a weekly basis, but he’s yet to actually play in front of a packed house at Elland Road.
Leeds fans are amongst the loudest and most passionate in the country, and Bamford believes that once they’re able to see Raphinha live, the crowd will go nuts for him.
“He’s the type of player that people, and Leeds fans would pay to come watch Leeds no matter who is playing, but he’s the type of player people would pay just to go and see him,” Bamford said about Raphinha.
“He does things that excite the crowd and it might be a flat game, but he’s the type of player who could raise the atmosphere with one thing that he does. I think Leeds fans will love him when they see him in the flesh. I’m just interested to see what song they give him.”
Raphinha is going to be a fan favourite at Leeds, that’s for sure.
Even when you watch him on the TV it’s hard to not get out of your seat whenever he gets onto the ball, so we can only imagine what it would be like to see him live.
He’s got everything you’d want when it comes to exciting a crowd. He’s a hard worker, he’s tricky and as we all know, he can strike a ball from long distance.
Leeds supporters will most certainly be wowed by Raphinha when they’re allowed back in at Elland Road.
