Leeds United supporters believe that Derby County should not have Tom Lawrence available for the play-off semi-final.

Several Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to urge the FA to hand Tom Lawrence a two-match suspension ahead of their play-off semi-final after he was awarded a penalty in Derby’s 3-1 win against West Brom on the final day of the Championship season.
The Whites supporters were furious with the FA after their controversial draw with Aston Villa after Patrick Bamford was handed a two-match ban but Conor Hourihane escaped punishment.
Bamford’s dive certainly deserved to be punished – and few fans had any complaints with that decision – but Hourihane somehow got away with punching Mateusz Klich in the chest after the Pole had scored the opening goal.
That sense of injustice has left many fans calling for Lawrence to be banned after the Rams’ 3-1 win against the Baggies that ensured that they will face Leeds in the play-off semi-final.

Lawrence was clipped by former Whites man Kyle Bartley. But the contact is minimal, and the 25-year-old seems to remain initially on his feet before going to ground. Sky Sports has since reported that the FA will review the incident and consider handing Lawrence a ban for deceiving the official.
And while there will be plenty who are adamant that Lawrence has done nothing wrong as there is contact, there are several Leeds fans who believe that he should receive the same punishment that Bamford was handed.

Here is how some of the supporters reacted after Lawrence won the penalty…
