Pawel Cibicki has endured a dismal season since joining Leeds last summer.

Leeds United forward Pawel Cibicki would be forgiven for wanting to look elsewhere this summer after a season in which he has been forced to feed off of scraps – but fans are desperate to see him given another chance.
The 24-year-old has been afforded just 10 league and cup outings for the Whites, being played out wide instead of his normal position as a striker. Even then, he has impressed from the flanks.
In a rare run of appearances, the Sweden Under-21 international managed five straight starts throughout December, providing assists against QPR and Norwich City.

A £1.5million signing from Malmo, Cibicki has shown glimpses of class when given the chance, but he has been made to wait with the Whites boasting a large squad that offers plenty of cover in most areas.
With three years remaining on the four-year deal he signed last summer, Leeds fans have considered his future at Elland Road on Twitter after he was one of the notable absentees from the Whites’ trip to Myanmar.
The likes of Felix Wiedwald, Eunan O’Kane, Gaetano Berardi, Kemar Roofe, Laurens De Bock and Hadi Sacko are all absent, while Pablo Hernandez’s partner has just had a baby and Vurnon Anita has undergone ankle surgery.

Anita joins crocked stars Adam Forshaw, Tyler Roberts, Conor Shaughnessy and Stuart Dallas in missing the trip, while Liam Cooper is also expecting to become a father. Pontus Jansson and Gjanni Alioski are preparing for World Cup duty.
But Cibicki has no reason to be left at home, other than Paul Heckingbottom deciding to omit him from the squad. Leeds fans believe he should remain in Yorkshire this summer, with one fan urging him to “stay and fight”.
