Leeds fans are desperate to see Pierre-Michel Lasogga given game time on Sunday.

Leeds United face a potential banana skin in the third round of the FA Cup as they travel to Newport County’s Rodney Parade to take on the League Two outfit – and fans are keen to see Pierre-Michel Lasogga start.
The 26-year-old striker remains on loan at Elland Road from Bundesliga side Hamburg, but is yet to make a decent impact with the Yorkshire club with expectations high as he was seen as £15million striker Chris Wood’s replacement.
It has seen Kemar Roofe and Caleb Ekuban come to the fore, despite the Whites paying a quarter of his reported £50,000 wages at Elland Road according to the Yorkshire Evening Post – which equates to £12,500.

Lasogga has been used as a substitute in the Whites last four Championship outings, coming on at half time against Nottingham Forest but failing to provide the difference in Leeds’ 0-0 draw at Elland Road.
Scoring five goals in 14 outings, Lasogga needs a confidence boost and fans reckon by starting him against Newport, the powerhouse can find the back of the net and kickstart his season-long loan spell.
One fan even jokingly called on the target man to “bag seven” goals in order to “raise his confidence”.
