Marcelo Bielsa must prepare his Leeds United side for a quick turnaround on Tuesday night as they travel to face Swansea City just three days after their win over Rotherham – and some fans want Jack Harrison to start over Gjanni Alioski.
Leeds have begun the season in flying form, with three league wins from three. The victories over Stoke City, Derby County and Rotherham have pushed the Yorkshire club into second with a game in hand.
The Whites could go top with a win over Swansea, and Bielsa’s tactical consistency has worked so far by starting the exact same 11 players in all three Championship outings.
But with just three days between the Rotherham win and Tuesday’s clash against relegated Swansea, Bielsa may be tempted to make a change to keep players fresh – with his high tempo system asking a lot of his in-for squad.
New signings Jamal Blackman, Patrick Bamford, Lewis Baker and indeed Harrison are yet to start a league game with Bailey Peacock-Farrell, Kemar Roofe, Mateusz Klich and Alioski preferred.
But some Leeds fans want to see former New York City winger Harrison start for the Whites on Tuesday night, with some criticising 26-year-old Macedonia international Alioski for his inability to keep the ball.
