Leeds United fans on social networking site Twitter want Jack Clarke to get a chance against Sunderland this weekend.

The West Yorkshire outfit will return to action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Sunderland at Elland Road in the Championship.

The Whites will head into the game against the Black Cats on the back of a 2-0 defeat to Fulham away from home at Craven Cottage in the league.

Leeds fans want 17-year-old striker Jack Clarke to get a chance against Sunderland this weekend.

Leeds’s season is pretty much over, as the Whites are virtually out of the running for the Championship playoffs this campaign.

With an eye on the 2018-19 campaign, it would make sense for head coach Paul Heckingbottom to give chances to the young players.

Clarke has been playing well for the Leeds youth team this season, and it would not be a bad idea for the 17-year-old to to get a chance against Sunderland, perhaps as a substitute.
