The Whites player spurned several chances for Marcelo Bielsa’s side as they could only claim a draw at Elland Road against the visitors.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Patrick Bamford’s display in Saturday’s 1-1 Championship draw with Derby County at Elland Road and needless to say the Whites forward came under a fair bit of criticism.
Bamford showed plenty of energy early on against the Rams and went on to win a penalty for Marcelo Bielsa’s side but he seemed to run out of steam going into the final third of the game and he spurned several good opportunities – including one where he hit the post – which would have put the hosts out of sight.
Derby full-back Max Lowe’s own goal looked set to be the difference between the two teams, although Leeds should have put the result beyond doubt by the latter stages of the game, such was their dominance, and in the end Chris Martin’s stoppage-time equaliser forced a share of the spoils at Elland Road.
Here is what some Leeds fans made of Bamford’s display at Elland Road against Phillip Cocu’s side, with a few urging Eddie Nketiah to start instead:
Bamford joined Leeds from Middlesbrough in the summer of 2018 for an undisclosed fee which BBC Sport said could be worth up to £10million.
