Leeds United have reportedly expressed an interest in signing two players from fellow Championship club Queens Park Rangers this summer.

One of the QPR players linked with the Whites is attacking midfielder Luke Freeman, who has been impressive for his club this term, scoring eight goals and registering four assists in 34 league appearances (Transfermarkt).

According to talkSPORT, the Rangers wage bill needs to be trimmed down further this summer, and as a result, the club is willing to listen to offers for Freeman, even though he only signed a new contract last November.

The report goes on to claim that Leeds representatives have been monitoring the ex-Arsenal man for some time, attending several of QPR’s games in recent months, though any potential move would depend on whether Marcelo Bielsa’s men are promoted to the Premier League.

In addition, 20-year-old midfielder Eberechi Eze, who has played 34 times for QPR this term and is deemed one of their “prized assets”, is also believed to be on the Elland Road club’s radar, according to the same report.

Following the report’s publication, some Leeds fans took to Twitter to express their opinions:
