Leeds fans react on Twitter as Under-23s trio get new deals at Elland Road

The Whites trio of Bryce Hosannah, Pascal Struijk and Kun Temenuzhkov have penned new contracts at Elland Road.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that Bryce Hosannah, Pascal Struijk and Kun Temenuzhkov have all been handed new contracts by the Whites (official Leeds website).

The Under-23s trio have been rewarded with new deals to to remain at Elland Road for the “foreseeable future”, having impressed in Carlos Corberan’s Professional Development League title-winning campaign last season.

Right-back Hosannah, 20, joined the club in 2017 from Crystal Palace and has been a regular for the Under-23s since his arrival at the Whites when fit, though a succession of injuries have hampered his progress somewhat.

Netherlands youth international Struijk, meanwhile, made the move to Leeds from Dutch outfit Ajax in the same year, and this season the centre-back has scored two goals for the U23s and has helped keep four clean sheets in the five games he has been involved in.

Bulgaria Under-21 forward striker Temenuzhkov, joined the Elland Road side from Barcelona in the summer of 2017 and a series of impressive performances with the U23s led to a first team debut under Marcelo Bielsa last season, featuring against QPR in the FA Cup third round.

The trio join Charlie Cresswell and Stuart McKinstry in signing deals this week, the young duo having put pen to paper on their first professional contracts.
