The Whites’ Gold Membership package gives fans priority to purchase tickets for home games.

After a wobbly start to 2019, Leeds United seem right back on track for automatic promotion to the Premier League, their 4-0 hammering of fellow Championship high-flyers West Bromwich Albion a sign of the Whites being back to their best.
Aside from ending 15 years of hurt and returning to the top flight, the prospect of promotion for the 2019-20 campaign is made all the more special by the fact that it’ll be the club’s centenary year.
This will also mean unprecedented demand for match tickets, and as such, Leeds have announced that Gold Memberships are on sale online now due to popular demand, following the announcement of their season ticket plans for next term.
Leeds say the Gold Membership package gives supporters priority to purchase tickets for home games, and given the volume of season ticket holders the club currently has, plus their decision to cap that number, it’s a way for non-season ticket holders to stand a better chance of getting tickets.

However, one paragraph has not proven very popular amongst some fans, and it’s this: “If Leeds United are to be promoted to the Premier League for next season, tickets will be capped at one per Membership and should we remain in the Championship the allocation will depend on the demand for the fixture in question.”
Here is how some supporters responded on Twitter to the club’s announcement:
