The Whites duo suffered knocks as the Elland Road side took on Manchester United in their pre-season game in Perth.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Elland Road club’s injury update about Adam Forshaw and Stuart Dallas (official website).

As per the Whites official website, midfielder Forshaw will be receiving treatment from the club’s medical staff after having been on the receiving end of a late tackle by Ashley Young in the pre-season match with Manchester United.

As for winger Dallas, he received a cut above his right eye but luckily has not suffered concussion, the club confirming that had been ruled out, and as such will be available for selection this weekend against Western Sydney Wanderers.

While the update does not suggest that the knocks are particularly bad, it is nonetheless a cause of frustration for the Leeds fans, who saw their team suffer numerous injuries last season, something which sadly contributed to losing form in the second half of the season and cost them a top-two finish in the Championship.

Here is how some Leeds fans reacted on the social media platform to the update and needless to say some believe it could be the first such update of many in the coming ten months:
