Leeds United fell to defeat this evening as they were beaten 4-2 away at Arsenal in another crazy game.

The Whites seem to be involved in unbelievable matches this season, and today was the latest instalment in a mad season – even if it ended in defeat again.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang fired Arsenal in front before adding his second from the penalty spot, with Hector Bellerin smashing home the third.

Aubameyang completed his hat-trick after the break, but Leeds did hit back as Pascal Struijk headed in a Raphinha corner and Helder Costa finished from a Tyler Roberts pull-back.

Leeds couldn’t find another and really set up a tense finale, but they at least showed character to get back into the game from 4-0 down.

There weren’t many standout performances from Leeds on the night, but substitute Tyler Roberts did offer some energy in the second half.

The Welshman came on for Mateusz Klich at half time and looked bright throughout, working the ball well to set up Costa’s goal and showing tidy footwork throughout.

Fans took to Twitter to rave about Roberts, claiming he is far ahead of Mateusz Klich as things stand and deserves to start.

Others called him ‘amazing’, and feel that he gets unwarranted abuse, meaning some may not want to hear it, but he made a huge impact against the Gunners.
