Leeds United fans have called for a move for Robert Huth following an update about Liam Cooper.

Leeds United fans on Twitter are calling on their club to snap up Robert Huth on a free transfer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side picked up a third Championship win in a row by beating Sheffield United this afternoon, but the victory came at a price.
Leeds centre-back Liam Cooper was forced off after 21 minutes and Bielsa confirmed afterwards that it was ‘a serious injury’.
The 27-year-old is a massive player for the Whites and a replacement is vital if Cooper is ruled out for a matter of months.
Huth, who turned 34 in August, is still available on a Bosman following his release by Leicester City in the summer.
And fans of the Elland Road club believe that United should offer him a stint in West Yorkshire.
If Huth is fit – and it might be a big ‘if’ – then why not?
The German centre-back didn’t make a single appearance for the Foxes last season, but when fit he might be an exceptional asset for Leeds to call upon on their promotion quest.

He is a three-time Premier League champion (twice with Chelsea, once with Leicester) and has clocked over 320 appearances in England’s top flight.
That being said, there’s a reason why he’s still a Bosman and it seems plausible that he hasn’t quite conquered his injury demons, but Bielsa must enquire about his fitness at the very least.
