Leeds United lost 2-1 at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United’s torrid 2018 continued on Saturday afternoon as they squandered a 1-0 lead to eventually lose 2-1 away at Norwich City.
The Whites have won just three times since the turn of the year, but were on course to make it four when Kalvin Phillips put Paul Heckingbottom’s men in front.
However, Wes Hoolahan bagged a deflected equaliser in his final home game for Norwich, and Josh Murphy’s powerful effort beat Bayley Peacock-Farrell to give the Canaries a 2-1 win.
Leeds now can’t finish in the top half of the Championship table as they enter the final game of the season, and Heckingbottom may already be fearing for his job.

Landed from Barnsley in February as Thomas Christiansen’s replacement, Heckingbottom has failed to impress so far, and one decision particularly frustrated Leeds fans on Saturday.
With Leeds chasing the game, Heckingbottom took the odd decision to remove Ezgjan Alioski and send on striker Jay-Roy Grot to play out wide; a move which, predictably, had little impact on the game.
Heckingbottom may have simply been taking another look at Grot ahead of the summer transfer window, but fans couldn’t believe the substitution.
Supporters suggested that Heckingbottom deserves to be sacked for making such a change, branding him ‘absolutely clueless’ and claiming that it sums up the Leeds boss and his disappointing reign so far.
