Some Leeds United fans have spotted a glaring error within the letter sent by 11 of their Championship rivals to the English Football League requesting details of the Whites’ ‘spying’ missions.
The Leeds manager, Marcelo Bielsa, last week admitted that he has had every single one of his opponents’ training sessions watched this season, after one of his ‘spies’ was discovered by Derby County earlier this month.
And Derby’s name, along with those of Blackburn Rovers, Brentford, Bristol City, Hull City, Middlesbrough, Millwall, Norwich City, Nottingham Forest, Preston North End and Swansea City, appears among the complainants on the letter, which the Times newspaper claims to have obtained.
But if the letter is indeed genuine, it would appear to require a re-write.

It remains to be seen what sort of punishment Leeds could face – if any at all – given the unprecedented nature of the alleged offence.
The Whites currently lead the Championship table by a point, despite having lost three of their last four fixtures.
