Leeds United have been linked with a move for Harry Wilson.
Leeds United were handed a huge boost on Tuesday, as boss Marcelo Bielsa’s future was settled, with the Whites activating a one-year extension in his contract.
Bielsa will have another crack at promotion from the Championship next season, having fallen short on two fronts this term.
Leeds not only missed out on automatic promotion, but then lost in the playoff semi-finals to Derby County, producing a staggering collapse at Elland Road.
One of the scorers on the night was Harry Wilson, as the winger scored from the penalty spot, whilst he also teed up Mason Mount’s second half goal.
The Welshman hit 18 goals for the Rams this season, but now returns to parent club Liverpool after the expiration of his loan deal, but Leeds are seemingly keen.
The Sun reported over the weekend that Leeds are in the race to sign the 22-year-old wide man, but face competition from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Bournemouth.
It seems unlikely that Wilson would drop to the Championship again, but that hasn’t stopped some Leeds fans from taking to Twitter hoping for a move, admitting they’d take him in a heartbeat.
Others really don’t want Wilson though after his celebrations for Derby at Elland Road just weeks ago, believing he should never wear the Leeds shirt after his antics mocking Spygate, with a real split in the fanbase about a move for Wilson.
