Barry Douglas struggled as Championship leaders Leeds United were beaten at Elland Road.

Several Leeds fans took to Twitter following the Whites’ 2-0 defeat at home to Hull on Saturday to criticise Barry Douglas’ display at Elland Road, and question his recent run of form.
After a run of seven straight wins, and two stunning comeback victories in their last two fixtures, Marcelo Bielsa’s side were reminded of how bizarre the Championship can be at times.
Leeds did their bit as the top three in the table all failed to win on Saturday. And plenty of Whites supporters have suggested that Douglas’ performance was particularly concerning.
The deal to sign the left-back was deemed to be a stroke of genius in the summer. Sky Sports reported that Leeds paid an initial £3 million for the 29-year-old, and it quickly looked like a masterstroke.

Three assists came before the end of September, but he has not added to that tally since. And his form has been fairly underwhelming for a little while now.
Douglas has been criticised by some fans for his role in Hull’s second goal as Kamil Grosicki seemed to drift past him much too easily before the ball ended up falling to Jarrod Bowen who smashed his effort past Bailey Peacock-Farrell.
