The Leeds United midfielder struggled again on Sunday.

New year, but more of the same from Leeds United midfielder Lewis Baker.
The 23-year-old has really struggled since joining Leeds on loan from Premier League side Chelsea, where he earns £20,000 per week [Spotrac].
Sunday’s trip to QPR in the FA Cup represented Baker’s first chance to impress Whites boss Marcelo Bielsa in 2019, but the midfielder let down his Argentine coach.
He posted a performance which reminded Leeds fans why he has only started two Championship games all season.
Baker, who played once since November before today, was sloppy in possession and struggled to win the ball back when he did lose it.
And here’s how fans of the Yorkshire giants reacted to his performance in this afternoon’s 2-1 defeat in London.
Baker is a good player but for whatever reason, it really hasn’t worked out under Bielsa with United, to the point where you have to ask if he is a valuable squad member.
Leeds could and probably should consider sending him back to West London. The 63-year-old coach can ill afford any passengers as Leeds plot Premier League promotion and, well, Baker just hasn’t contributed all that much to the cause.
