A number of Leeds fans have responded to Tyler Roberts’ tweet ahead of the Whites’ Championship clash with Sheffield Wednesday on Friday night.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men travel to Hillsborough looking to bounce back from their first league defeat of the season, having been beaten by Birmingham City at Elland Road last weekend.

Leeds still top the Championship however, and they will be hoping to make their first blip of the campaign a brief one when they take on the Owls at Hillsborough.

Bielsa has outlined his plans in regards to team selection, which means that Roberts is set to lead the line tomorrow night. It has been a mixed spell for the 19-year-old since Kemar Roofe was sidelined with injury.

Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa arrives for the Sky Bet Championship match between Swansea City and Leeds United at the Liberty Stadium on August 21, 2018 in Swansea, Wales.

Two underwhelming performances came either side of a stunning display against Preston. His first goal on that night will certainly live long in the memory, and Bielsa will be hoping that he can cause Jos Luhukay’s men all sorts of problems.

And ahead of the game, Roberts – who cost £2.5 million in January, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post – sent a message to the supporters on social media, and in response, plenty of fans were quick to encourage the striker to make the impact that he has shown he can make.
