Leeds United fans on Twitter reckon Hadi Sacko may be leaving the club this summer.

The French winger hinted that his Leeds future is up in the air at the moment, after a post on Instagram last night.

Sacko wrote: “Not the season I expected on personal plan but no matter what you guys always have been great support, through all the ups and downs we faced this year.

“I just wanted to say thank you, I don’t know what the future will be made of but one thing is sure, I’ll never forget my time here.”

Sacko, a £1.5 million permanent signing last summer after spending the 2016-17 season at Elland Road on loan, only managed to start one Championship game all season, and that came under Paul Heckingbottom.

Prior to that, the 24-year-old, who made 14 league appearances in total, barely featured under Heckingbottom’s predecessor Thomas Christiansen, and Leeds supporters on Twitter believe that Sacko will part company with the club shortly.

Beyond the sentiment, leaving is probably the best for Sacko and Leeds.

The former Sporting Lisbon youth certainly has talent, not to mention the speed which made him a nightmare for opposition left-backs at times, but consistency and decision-making have held him back in West Yorkshire.

Signing him up was a contentious decision in the first place, given his mixed campaign under Garry Monk, and few will shed tears if he never plays for the Whites again.
