Leeds United asked their fans to provide questions for Kalvin Phillips.
Leeds United reached out to supporters on Twitter on Tuesday night asking them to provide questions for Kalvin Phillips to answer – and it is probably fair to assume that some of the responses may not get put to the midfielder.
Phillips is enjoying an incredible season under Marcelo Bielsa. Bielsa took little time to decide that he wanted to use the academy graduate in the holding midfield role that is absolutely crucial to the Whites’ system.
And while Phillips has always boasted potential, few could have imagined how much of a masterstroke Bielsa’s decision would prove to be as the youngster has arguably been Leeds’s player of the season in the quarterback role.
He has been used as a centre-back as well, but he reminded the Elland Road faithful of just how important he is slightly further up the pitch as he produced a stunning performance in the 2-1 win against Swansea last time out.
Understandably therefore, when the club asked their fans to provide questions for the 23-year-old, they seemed to only receive positive responses from the supporters – although some may have been a little critical of the hairstyle that Phillips has been sporting this term.
But there have also been some hilarious responses from the fans, including questions regarding taking on a Pontus Jansson-sized Gaetano Berardi or a Berardi-sized Jansson, the best way to finish off a nine-dart leg and what his favourite biscuit for dunking is.
