The referee has been at the centre of a couple of high profile Premier League incidents within the past month
Now he has been demoted to the Championship temporarily, and The Mail report he has been selected to take charge of Leeds United’s clash with Barnsley.

The contest should be competitive with the two Yorkshire rivals battling in the top half of the Championship, and Dean has an uncanny way of finding controversy.
West Ham fans were among those particularly aggrieved by Dean, with Sofiane Feghouli sent off early in a clash against Manchester United, a decision which was later rescinded.

Dean has refereed Leeds 23 times in the past, and the Whites have won just nine of them. The last time he did so was in their FA Cup defeat to Sunderland under Neil Redfearn in January 2015.
Opponents Barnsley on the other hand have seen Dean only three times, drawing twice and losing once.
