The Whites midfielder will leave Elland Road for international duty this month.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on Mateusz Klich’s latest call-up for Poland ahead of the upcoming Euro 2020 qualifiers against Latvia and North Macedonia in mid-October.
The Whites midfielder has played six times for his national team in 2019, winning four games and drawing one, with his last outing coming against Austria last month, when he played 13 minutes of a 0-0 draw.
Klich has often been one of the first names on the Leeds teamsheet under Marcelo Bielsa, playing 50 games for the Whites last season and registering an impressive 10 goals and nine assists according to Transfermarkt.
This season, however, he has struggled to hit the same heady heights and has come under criticism by some sections of the Leeds fanbase for several of his recent performances, such as the 1-0 loss to Charlton Athletic in which one fan suggested he needs a rest.
Here is the social reaction from some of the Leeds faithful to the call-up:
Should Elland Road teammate Gjanni Alioski earn a call-up to the North Macedonia squad for the October international break, the game between the two nations on 13 October could be the second time the two Leeds players will be on opposing sides of the pitch.
The two locked horns in July when Poland ran out 1-0 winners over North Macedonia, both Mateusz and Gjanni playing the full 90 minutes.
