The Elland Road faithful will be seeing the Whites kick off late on both Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the news that two more of the Whites fixtures have been rescheduled for television coverage.
The Boxing Day clash between Leeds and Preston at Elland Road has been pushed back, with Marcelo Bielsa’s side and Alex Neil’s charges now set to kick off at 5:15pm.
On New Year’s Day, meanwhile, the Whites head to The Hawthorns to face current Championship leaders West Bromwich Albion, with the Elland Road side looking for a repeat of the 1-0 win at the start of the month.
That game has also been pushed back from its original 3pm kickoff and, like the Lilywhites clash, will now begin at 5:15pm, as confirmed by the official Leeds website.
Leeds are no strangers to seeing their fixtures rescheduled for TV coverage and a number of Whites fans were disappointed but not surprised on social media – but some others were quite pleased:
Leeds currently sit second in the Championship table, two points adrift of leaders West Brom, following their 1-1 draw with Preston on Tuesday.
