One of the Championship’s biggest clashes of the season is upon us as Leeds United host Norwich City at Elland Road in a game which could have a huge say in where the title ends up.
Marcelo Bielsa’s charges top the table on 57 points but the visiting Canaries are just three points behind, while their goal difference is just two less than the Whites.
The stakes are high – Leeds win and they’ll be six points ahead with 16 games to go, a draw will keep their noses in front, but defeat could potentially see the two rivals switch places.
The stats surrounding the fixture (Sky Sports) are mixed – Norwich have won just one of their last nine visits to Leeds in all competitions, but they have lost just one of their last 17 Championship matches, and are unbeaten in their last 12 on the road.
Leeds, meanwhile, are looking to complete a league double over Norwich for the first time since the 1980-81 season, but they have lost three of their last five Championship games, as many as they had in their previous 25 in the competition.
