Pierre-Michel Lasogga joined Leeds United on loan from Hamburg in the summer of 2017.

Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to recent comments from Victor Orta about the future of Pierre-Michel Lasogga.
The club’s director of football suggested during a live Q&A session on the LUTV app on Monday, as transcribed by The Yorkshire Evening Post, that Leeds could sign Lasogga on a permanent contract in the summer of 2018.
The 26-year-old striker joined the West Yorkshire outfit on a season-long loan deal from German club Hamburg in the summer of 2017.
The former Germany Under-21 international striker has scored 10 goals in 17 Championship starts for Leeds so far this season.
Leeds are 11th in the Championship table at the moment with 49 points from 34 matches, just five points behind Bristol City, who are currently sixth in the standings and occupy the final playoff spot.

Orta said during a live Q&A session on the LUTV app on Monday, as transcribed by The Yorkshire Evening Post: “Pierre, he is happy in Leeds and now his family grows in Leeds with a new child.
“I think it is a situation we can discuss and can be a possibility. With his quality we are obviously evaluating this possibility.”
