Leeds United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to recent comments made by head coach Thomas Christiansen about further signings in the January transfer window.

The West Yorkshire outfit have signed left-back Laurens De Bock from Club Brugge and midfielder Adam Forshaw from Championship rivals Middlesbrough so far this month.

Christiansen recently suggested that Leeds may not sign any more players in the January transfer window, although the head coach completely refused to close the door on further signings.

“I don’t think so,” Christiansen told The Yorkshire Evening Post about further signings. “You never know. Until the transfer period is done, anything can happen.

“You have to speak to Victor (Orta, Leeds’s director of football) about that. Victor and the board make the decisions about what is possible.

“Of course I get the information when they have found one but right now this is the situation.”

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Christiansen’s latest comments about further signings.

Christiansen does not disclose about signings before Leeds announce them officially, and one can understand that.

The Championship club, though, have been linked with a new goalkeeper in the January transfer window.

According to AS Argentina, Leeds are interested in signing 25-year-old goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez from Premier League rivals Arsenal (click here to read more).

Leeds will return to action this evening when they take on Hull City away from home in the Championship.
