Some fans of the Whites are quite optimistic ahead of their trip to the Bet365 Stadium after the Potters crumbled against Shrewsbury.

Nathan Jones’ tenure at Stoke City has continued in a bad vein as the Potters suffered a 3-2 home defeat to Shrewsbury Town in their FA Cup third-round replay on Tuesday night.
The Shrews succeeded in proving they could do it on a cold January night in Stoke as they came from two goals down to condemn Jones to his second defeat in a row from two games at the helm.
Stoke were utterly dominant in the first half and they succeeded in converting chances into goals too as Tyrese Campbell’s double put the hosts in command against a side three points above the League One relegation zone.
However, the Potters suffered a spectacular collapse as Sam Ricketts’ side scored three times in 10 second-half minutes at the Bet365 Stadium through James Bolton, Fejiri Okenabirhie and Josh Laurent to complete a remarkable turnaround.
Given Jones’ poor start and Stoke’s lack of confidence, the club now has to prepare for a rather tall order in the shape of Championship leaders Leeds United, who come to town on Saturday.
Some Whites fans expressed optimism on Twitter following what they had seen from their upcoming opponents in their cup flop:
