The Swansea City striker was a rumoured Leeds United target last summer.

Leeds United fans are reacting to Graham Potter’s claim that striker Oli McBurnie could miss Swansea City’s trip to Elland Road on Wednesday.
Speaking about McBurnie to Wales Online earlier, Swansea boss Potter said: “He’s just had a period where he’s picked up a few things so we’ll have to be careful.
“He trained lightly yesterday and I think it was tough for him to come on [against Millwall], but we’ll make a decision on Leeds closer to the time.”
McBurnie was born and raised in Leeds, and spent time on the Whites’ books as a youngster.

He was, according to the Daily Mail a target for Leeds during Paul Heckingbottom’s spell as manager, although his popularity within the United fanbase appeared to take a nose dive earlier this year.
McBurnie posted the following tweet after hearing of Daniel James’ failed move from Swansea to Elland Road on deadline day, and found himself bombarded with messages from those of a Whites persuasion – prompting him to delete his initial post.

And some are accusing the Scotland international of ‘bottling’ the two sides’ upcoming fixture…
Others, however, have chosen to take Potter’s comments with a pinch of salt…
McBurnie has scored 15 goals in 30 games for Swansea this season – his first as a first-team regular at the Liberty Stadium.
