Clarke-Salter could become Leeds United’s latest Chelsea loanee.

Leeds United fans are reacting to reports linking their side with the Chelsea centre-back, Jake Clarke-Salter.
The Sun claims Leeds are interested in bringing Clarke-Salter to Yorkshire on a season-long loan.
And the Whites are said to have scouted Clarke-Salter as he captained the England Under-21s at this summer’s European Championship.
Leeds took Lewis Baker, Jamal Blackman and Izzy Brown on loan from Chelsea last season, but saw two of those deals terminated early, while Brown only played 11 minutes of senior football in Whites colours.
And although the Championship side are seemingly undeterred, The Sun states there is a fear that their latest pursuit will fail to reach a successful conclusion, with Chelsea expected to appoint Frank Lampard as manager.

Lampard was, of course, the Derby boss when Leeds were caught ‘spying’ on the Rams’ pre-Whites training session in January.
And this is what those of a Leeds persuasion have had to say about the rumour…
Leeds have been strongly linked with another Premier League centre-back, Ben White of Brighton and Hove Albion.
