The Aston Villa midfielder seems a big doubt for Sunday’s visit of Leeds United.

Leeds United might have an early boost for their Championship visit to Aston Villa next week – but it’s not regarding one of their own players.
Jack Grealish missed Aston Villa’s 2-2 draw with Stoke City this past weekend with a shin injury.
And it looks like the 23-year-old might miss the visit of Leeds on Sunday.
When asked if Grealish would be back for the clash against the Championship leaders, Villa boss Dean Smith, as quoted by The Yorkshire Evening Post, said: “Not really for Grealish.”
Leeds’ chances of leaving Villa Park with a sixth successive victory go up if Grealish is absent, and here’s how fans of the West Yorkshire club reacted to the potential boost.
A lot can change in the space of six days so although Grealish isn’t certain to miss the game, it looks good from a Leeds perspective.
It must be noted that it may not make a difference even if he were fit because, in truth, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are on fire.
Saturday’s 1-0 win at Bolton was their fifth successive Championship win. Bielsa’s troops look every inch the promotion candidates that they were supposed to be when the legendary Argentine took the reins.
Grealish or no Grealish, Sunday is a very difficult task for Aston Villa.
