Ian “Moose” Abrahams upset some of the Whites faithful weeks ago by suggesting their promotion to the Premier League would be “bad for English football”.

Leeds United fans will surely have a Christmas to remember after a thrilling 3-2 win over Aston Villa on Sunday ensured they would top the Championship table heading into the busy festive period.
The Whites faithful were made to sweat at Villa Park as the hosts went on to lead 2-0 at the break, with Tammy Abraham and Conor Hourihane putting Dean Smith’s side on top.
However, Marcelo Bielsa’s charges struck twice in five second-half minutes to draw level as half-time substitute Jack Clarke scored his first goal for the club before Pontus Jansson equalised with a header.
Just as it seemed as though the spoils would be shared with the clock ticking, Kemar Roofe struck deep into injury time to break claret-and-blue hearts and send the away stands into absolute pandemonium.
There was plenty of praise for Leeds from plenty of individuals within the game, including talkSPORT broadcaster and journalist Ian Abrahams, who praised the Elland Road outfit’s youngsters for their part in the victory and the top-by-Christmas milestone.
Just a fortnight ago, however, “Moose” upset some sections of the Leeds fanbase – as well as that of Norwich – by suggesting that promotion for either club would be “bad for English football” due to their foreign managers supposedly standing in the way of budding domestic coaches.
So when Abrahams posted his compliments to Leeds on Twitter, he was reminded of his previous comments by some of the Whites fanbase:
