Ryan Edmondson travelled with Leeds United’s senior side on Saturday but was not included in the squad.

Leeds United fans haven’t reacted well to Paul Heckingbottom’s comments about Ryan Edmondson.
Leeds lost 2-1 at Norwich City on Saturday in their penultimate game of yet another disappointing Championship season.
The 16-year-old travelled with the senior squad for the game but Heckingbottom did not include him on the bench.
Speaking afterwards, the Leeds boss claimed that he wanted to cheer up the youngster by giving him the experience of travelling to a first-team game, following the disappointment of being wrongly sent off in an Under-18 match recently.

But the rationale hasn’t gone down well with fans of the Elland Road, many of whom believe that the best experience would have involved some playing time for the highly-rated prospect.
Here is their reaction to what Heckingbottom said:
Leeds, who took the lead against Norwich, are 14th in the Championship but could finish as low as 16th if QPR beat them in their end-of-season clash at Elland Road next week, and other results go against them.
