Leeds United fans aren’t happy with head coach Paul Heckingbottom.

Leeds United fans aren’t happy with Paul Heckingbottom’s latest comments it seems.
The 40-year-old was speaking to a pre-match press conference ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers to Elland Road.
Leeds go into the game on the back of a 3-0 demolition by Middlesbrough on Friday and it is growing increasingly difficult to see United sparking the resurgence needed to finish in the top six this season.

The Whites are eight points and six places adrift of the playoff spots at the moment and it was put to Heckingbottom whether he could give young players a run-out in the coming weeks and months.
“I wouldn’t want to give opportunities away because it sends the wrong message. People need to earn it. You can undo lots of good work by putting people in for the sake of it,” he said when asked about the possiblity of blooding youngsters.

Heckingbottom has kept faith in a number of disappointing players during his month-long stint at Elland Road, including Eunan O’Kane and goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald, who posted another terrible performance last time out.
And fans of the West Yorkshire club have questioned how some players are ‘earning’ their chance to play over some youngsters.
United have a number of promising talents in the ranks, but none more so than 19-year-old midfielder Ronaldo Vieira who has been used sparingly by Heckingbottom so far, only starting one of his five games in charge.
For obvious reason, Vieira is a hugely popular player among Leeds fans and seeing him on the bench every week has done little to help the former Barnsley boss it must be said.
