The Leeds United loanee had an up-and-down night in the League Cup yesterday.

Leeds United-owned Paudie O’Connor had a mixed night on Wednesday.
The Irish centre-back, who left Leeds to join Blackpool on a season-long loan during the summer, earned a rare start for the League One side in last night’s trip to Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
O’Connor, who made four Championship appearances for the Whites toward the end of last season under Paul Heckingbottom, pulled one back for Blackpool on 66 minutes to make it 2-1.
But the 21-year-old was sent off on 84 minutes after picking up a straight red card for a foul on Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, making it a disappointing end to what had been a brilliant night for him.
Here’s how Leeds fans reacted to his dramatic evening on Twitter:
You wonder whether it’s a big step back for O’Connor, despite the goal.
It hasn’t been a brilliant loan spell and the Leeds academy prospect hasn’t started a League One game for the Tangerine since back in August.
Scoring at the Emirates would’ve been a fantastic bit of progress, but it’ll be interesting to see if he has cancelled that out with the rash challenge on Aubameyang.
