Leeds United suffered their seventh defeat in nine Championship games, as they were beaten 3-1 by Brentford on Saturday.

Leeds fans have, once again, been given little to smile about on Twitter after watching their side suffer their seventh defeat in their last nine Championship games away at Brentford – but one player certainly impressed the supporters following the game at Griffin Park.
Two late goals saw Thomas Christiansen’s men beaten 3-1 by the Bees in a game where they were second-best for much of the contest with only a couple of prolonged bright spells to speak of.

One of those bright spells came in the second-half as Christiansen brought Pablo Hernandez and Kemar Roofe on for Eunan O’Kane and Pierre-Michel Lasogga, who had both arguably been poor in the first-half.
Hernandez however, attracted plenty of praise for his performance as he complemented Samuel Saiz with some exciting play that helped bring Leeds back into a game that could have virtually been killed off during the first 45 minutes.

And after watching another defeat, a number of Leeds supporters on social media have urged Christiansen to bring Hernandez back into the starting lineup.
The 32-year-old has been a more peripheral figure recently, but looked extremely bright when many of his teammates struggled to make any kind of impact, and that has not gone unnoticed by the supporters.
Here is the best of the reaction…
