Pablo Hernandez was taken off at half-time during Leeds United’s Championship defeat.

Plenty of Leeds fans have expressed concern about Pablo Hernandez after the Spaniard put in a lacklustre performance during the Whites’ defeat to Norwich on Saturday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side have been knocked off top spot in the Championship as the Canaries stormed to a 3-1 victory at Elland Road. The scoreline was only made to look a little more respectable for the Whites after a late Patrick Bamford consolation.
It was a night where Leeds had a lot of the ball and actually had more attempts than their opponents. But they continually lacked that moment of quality and composure in the final third and were unable to make their pressure count.
One of the reasons for their struggles was the concerning display from Hernandez. The 33-year-old is a magician at his best. He has scored seven times and provided 11 assists in the Championship this season.

However, he did not look like he was going to add to that tally during the 45 minutes that he spent on the pitch on Saturday. And many fans feel that the defeat highlighted just how much the side rely on Hernandez as they look a significantly less threatening side when he is off the boil.
Some supporters are concerned that he is not currently fit having recently sustained an injury. Hernandez is an incredibly popular figure at Elland Road, so the criticism coming his way certainly says a lot about his performance on an off-night for Bielsa’s men.
