Oli McBurnie impressed as Leeds United drew 2-2 with Swansea City in their Championship clash on Tuesday night.

A number of Leeds fans took to Twitter to comment on Oli McBurnie’s display against the Whites as Marcelo Bielsa’s side drew 2-2 with Swansea City on Tuesday night.
Leeds moved to the top of the Championship table following the point at the Liberty Stadium, but it was certainly their least convincing performance since Bielsa’s arrival as the Swans twice took the lead and will perhaps feel disappointed not to hold for the win.
The Whites fought back superbly on two occasions, with Kemar Roofe initially equalising after a stunning run from Jamie Shackleton before Pablo Hernandez scored against his old club following some superb work from Patrick Bamford down the left wing.
It was an impressive point given that Leeds lost captain Liam Cooper to injury during the warm up, but the Whites’ defence were certainly pushed by Swansea’s attack, with McBurnie playing a key role in tormenting the visitors and scoring both of the home side’s goals.

It will not have surprised many Leeds fans that McBurnie was able to make an impact. The Daily Mail reported in April that the Whites wanted the Scotland international while Paul Heckingbottom was in charge.
And after McBurnie’s display against Leeds on Tuesday, many of the Elland Road faithful suggested that they would have liked to have seen the striker signed this past summer despite the impressive form that Roofe and Bamford have shown so far.

Here is what some of the Leeds fans made of McBurnie’s display in the 2-2 draw…
