Jack Harrison made his full Leeds United debut as Marcelo Bielsa’s side reached the second round of the Carabao Cup.

With Leeds winning their opening two Championship games in some style, the players brought in for the Whites’ Carabao Cup clash with Bolton Wanderers on Tuesday would have known how important it was that they made an impact to try and put some pressure on some of their teammates ahead of the weekend.
It remains to be seen if Marcelo Bielsa feels that any of the squad staked a serious claim to feature against Rotherham on Saturday, but there is no question that there was even more reason for optimism with Leeds claiming a 2-1 win against Phil Parkinson’s side.
One of the players introduced into the starting lineup was Jack Harrison, the Manchester City winger spending the current season on loan at Elland Road.
The 21-year-old featured for the final couple of minutes on the opening day, but made his full debut against the Trotters, replacing Gjanni Alioski on the left wing.

Harrison appeared to be one of the busiest players on the pitch in the victory, but it appears that the supporters are somewhat divided regarding what they made of his display.
Some have compared the former New York City ace to Robert Snodgrass and lauded some of his trickery and his desire to pick out a pass, while others feel that he is more similar to Hadi Sacko, with question marks hanging over the quality of his end product.

It seems that the majority were impressed by Harrison’s performance, but it definitely appears that he will some critics to try and win over for the time-being.
