Leeds United winger Jack Clarke has provided a hint that he may be back to his best.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Jack Clarke’s stunning training ground finish, which saw the winger volley the ball into the roof of the net from well outside the box.
Clarke’s return to action has come at the perfect time for Leeds. The winger had been out for several weeks due to illness following the 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough back in February.
He was unable to make an impact after coming on against Sheffield United last time out, but his return will provide Marcelo Bielsa’s side with a huge lift as they look to get themselves back in the top two in the Championship.
And judging by a video that has come from the training ground at Thorp Arch, it appears that Clarke has rediscovered that sharpness that could make him so influential during the final eight games of the season.

The winger scored a sensational goal in a training drill as he received the ball from a pass just inside the halfway line. His first touch appears to be a little heavy, but the teenager recovers the situation by unleashing a vicious effort into the back of the net.
And unsurprisingly, the fans were delighted to see Clarke produce such a moment of brilliance. The wide-man’s potential is no secret, but the strike was certainly another reason to be excited about what impact he could make over the coming weeks, with one fan noting that it was the kind of goal that should have prompted Bielsa to sprint over to give the youngster a hug as he did with Patrick Bamford earlier this season.

Here is what some of the Leeds fans made of the finish…
