Leeds United were reportedly keen on Harvey Barnes in the summer, and the supporters were extremely impressed by his latest display.

With Samuel Saiz seemingly on his way out of Leeds in January, Harvey Barnes’ stunning performance for West Brom seemed to come at the perfect time for many Whites supporters.
Barnes played a vital role as the Baggies came from behind to beat Sheffield United 2-1 in the Championship on Friday night. The game pitted two promotion rivals against each other, and for long spells, it appeared that the Blades would bag the three points.
Darren Moore’s side certainly improved after the break and ended up securing the win. Barnes’ performance was crucial to their victory as he provided the assist for both of their goals.
The first came about as some excellent work in the area led to Barnes sliding the ball into the path of Gareth Barry who finished emphatically to cancel out David McGoldrick’s opener.

Barnes’ second assist came as he brought down a cross from Matt Phillips and provided a lovely touch for Kieran Gibbs to bag the winning goal.
The 21-year-old has now provided six assists as well as eight goals in the Championship this season. And with the Yorkshire Evening Post reporting that Saiz is all set to leave Elland Road next month, plenty of Leeds fans have suggested that Andrea Radrizzani needs to make an ambitious move.

And while some fans may be extremely disappointed by his decision, there are several who would still like to see the youngster prove to be the player that replaces Saiz.
