Leeds United fans are understandably furious after it was decided that Charlie Austin would not face action.

A number of Leeds fans have expressed their anger and frustration towards the Football Association after it was announced that Charlie Austin would not face any charges for his comments about the officials following Southampton’s draw with Watford.
The Saints were aggrieved after Austin saw a goal disallowed during the second-half against the Hornets. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that the referee decided that Maya Yoshida – who was in an offside position when Austin struck the ball – had deflected the shot home.
However, Yoshida had not interfered with play at all and Austin unleashed a remarkable post-match rant about the officials, accusing them of costing Mark Hughes’ men two points after Watford subsequently equalised.
As reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post, Austin has avoided punishment for his comments. And that has infuriated a lot of Leeds fans given the apparent similarities between what Austin said and Pontus Jansson’s comments after Leeds’ draw with Brentford earlier in the season.

Jansson accused the referee of robbery immediately after a very questionable performance during the game and the FA decided to fine the Swede £1,000 and hand him a one-match ban.
For many Whites supporters, Jansson’s comments – which admittedly, included a swear word on live television – were no worse than Austin’s, and they are extremely angry about the completely different reactions from the FA.

Here is what some of the Leeds supporters made of the decision on Austin…
